Rachel Michele Nichols is a female, American born, sport broadcaster. She is the popular host of the ESPN’s, NBA show, The Jump. Sports Illustrated applauded Nichols for being “the country’s most impactful and prominent female sports journalist”.

Background
Rachel Nichols graduated in 1995, from the top-ranking school Medill School of Journalism, which is a constituent school of Northwestern University. After graduation, she immediately began her journalism career for the Fort Lauderdale’s Sun-Sentinel, sport section of the paper. In 2004, Rachel Nichols as a sports anchor and reporter for ESPN covering a variety of sport shows, such as, Sports Center, Sunday NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown, NFL and NBA. In 2013, she moved on to become a host for CNN, on the candid talk show, Unguarded with Rachel Nichols. Fans widely praised for not being afraid to ask the tough questions that sometimes-made world-famous athletes squirm in their chairs.
After 3 years, Rachel Nichols returned to ESPN to co-host the American, television, sports talk show, The Jump. This daily talk show focuses on the NBA. Rachel has also taken on sideline jobs, on sport related talk shows, such as hosting the podcast Pardon My Take, the TV show Pardon the Interruption, host of NBA Saturday Primetime and the NBA Finals on ABC.
