John Hailer is a Specialist in Alternative Investments

John Hailer is the former Chief Executive Officer of Natixis, one of the top investment banks in Europe. He was working as a vice president for risk management, in charge of portfolio management, when he decided to create his own company. He left Natixis after ten years due to differences in strategy and market direction.

Natixis John Hailer created John Taylor as an independent investment manager focusing on hedge funds and alternative investments. Before creating his company, he was responsible for several positions, such as head of risk at Natixis Global Asset Management, director of portfolio management at Natixis Asset Management, and part of the group senior management team responsible for trouble at the Multi-Manager Business Unit.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors at Natixis consists of nine members. The board has been reshuffled recently as Nicolas Lefebvre, a board member, resigned. Jean-Francois Moury was appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer. He is also a member of the executive committee and therefore attended a board meeting this year.

John Hailer has vast experience in leading positions in financial institutions, starting at the end of the 1980s. He has extensive investment banking, risk management, and asset management knowledge. He worked to create John Taylor, so he knows the company well. He will be able to contribute to strategy evaluation and development as he was responsible for essential roles in Natixis and during his career.

John Hailer is a specialist in alternative investments, one of the areas that Altium Capital focuses on. By appointing him to its board, the company shows its interest in new opportunities and development for the company. As an expert in alternative investments, John Hailer can share his knowledge of the market with other board members and help Altium Capital’s portfolio increase in size and value.
