  1. Doug Haynes Advice Would You Give Your Younger Self?

Doug Haynes is a passionate philanthropist. He has given over $100 million to charity through his family foundation. He is a member of the board of directors of the Council on Foundations, a non-profit that advises foundations and major donors. His advice to his younger self would be: “Be patient.” Haynes says he didn’t give away all his money right away because he had to “build relationships” with foundations before getting funding for projects.

The most important thing you can do to make a difference in the world is to give money to charity. Donate money and time to organizations that are doing good things and help them grow. This will allow them to help others in need. You should never give money if you don’t have it because the government may take it from you or tax you on it.
