Damien Granderson Featured at ABC News

Damien Granderson is an author and motivational speaker. He is a contributing writer for The Huffington Post and Psychology Today, among many other publications. Granderson grew up in the Bronx and has been heavily influenced by his difficult upbringing in Harlem. 

 

His father was incarcerated early on, and his mother battled drug addiction for most of Damien’s childhood. Nonetheless, he attended college at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude with honors from the Wharton School of Business. Damien Granderson is a keynote speaker and has spoken at many major universities and corporations.

 

These outstanding features include TEDx Morgan State University, J.P.Morgan, Scripps Networks Interactive, The Enterprise of Human Kindly Society for Children, and National Geographic. Damien Granderson is a former Nickelodeon star of “The Secret World of Alex Mack” and has also appeared as an acting guest star in some of your favorite TV shows, such as “21 Jump Street”, “7th Heaven”, “The Jamie Foxx Show” and more. 

 

Damien was also featured in the Wall Street Journal article titled: “Hip-Hop Hasn’t Ruined Our Kids. It’s Raised Them.” Damien Granderson’s first book, “Rebel with a Cause,” was a New York Times Bestseller. His second book, “The Secret Behind Achieving the Impossible,” was published in 2015 (Sports). 

It debuted with huge success on the New York Times Bestseller List, has since been translated into multiple languages, and has featured in over 500 publications globally. Later on, he has appeared on over 1000 TV shows worldwide, including ABC News, FOX News, The 700 Club, Good Morning America, Dr. Phil Show, and more. Damien Granderson  was named one of 10 People Remaking the Future of Education by TIME Magazine and one of 10 People Remaking the Future of Business by The Huffington Post.
