Stream Energy Shows its Care for Victims of Hurricane Harvey

Hurricane Harvey joins the list of some of the most atrocious natural disasters to hit southern Texas. Alongside affecting more than 135,000 homes as well as 13 million individuals, the storm left devastating impacts in the country. As such, companies and businesses have come forward to support these victims. One such company is Stream Energy.

Stream Energy upholds philanthropy and corporate social responsibility. The direct-selling energy company just launched a charity foundation called Stream Cares with the initiative to formalize its yearly philanthropic activities in the country.

Moreover, in September, the company made a formal announcement about its intention to indulge in a series of philanthropic activities to assist the community in healing and recovering the lost property. Some of the measures the company indulged in include donating money to the American Red Cross in addition to letting go of energy fines accumulating on client’s invoices.

Although Stream Energy has been supportive of philanthropy for decades, the case of Hurricane Harvey was different with the company striving to leverage charity through its business associates. Most fundamentally, the management rallied its partners to contribute to the project by donating money and other resources that would improve the lives of the victims.

Moreover, the company has remained dedicated to helping its community through direct selling. Alongside a business model that strongly depends on its candidates for financial support the company is now giving back to the same people who were affected. As such, its image is becoming admired for contributing to the development of the community.

Since independent associates earn bonuses, revenues and free services inclusive of free recovery packs, they are now receiving a helping hand from the same company they have been supporting for some time.

Regarding the storm, the company initiated a campaign to independently support victims through monetary contributions. The crowdfunding has since attracted associates from different parts of the country. Having stated its intention to donate the equivalent of $25,000, Stream Energy managed to match up to its responsibilities.

Over and above, Stream Energy, a company based in Dallas spreads its services across New York, Georgia, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. Their commitment to empowering people has since made it possible for investors to approach them for business. With its leaders, the company has received awards based on its philanthropic activities. Some of the awards include the Dallas Business Journal Award of the Year and the Direct Selling Association’s Code of Ethics Award.

Stream Energy gets noticed for its many charitable acts

Stream Energy has made waves throughout the energy industry as one of the first companies that can offer rural and out-of-the-way residents the opportunity to elect to consume green energy. The company, which is the first multi-level distributor of energy in the United States, has proven over the last 15 years that people will often choose clean forms of energy, even if it means they have to use a little less.

Prior to the inception of Stream Energy, many consumers simply had no choice as to where their energy was generated and how. With the company’s highly innovate distribution network, Stream Energy is able to offer virtually anyone in the seven states where it currently operates the chance to use 100 percent clean-technology energy. The sources may include solar, wind and hydroelectric power, allowing customers to cut back of Earth-poisoning power sources, like coal.

It is these revolutionary breakthroughs in the energy industry that have given Stream Energy nationwide recognition. But throughout the Dallas, Texas, area, the company is known for another kind of change-inducing activity. Throughout the company’s hometown, Stream Energy has gained attention for its many acts of charity. The company has been a crucial supporter of a local charity called Hope Supplies Co. This charity helps homeless children get the school supplies, food and toys that they need to have as relatively normal a childhood as possible.

Stream Energy began underwriting special trips for the charity’s kids. Every week in the summer, Stream funds trips to local amusement parks, water parks and other entertainment venues for the city’s most vulnerable children. For many of these kids, the trips are the first time in their lives that they have been able to enjoy an afternoon of fun at a commercial theme park.

Stream has also been heavily involved in disaster relief in Dallas and around the state of Texas. After a 2016 outbreak of severe, tornado-producing thunderstorms, Stream raised over $100,000 for residents of a town that had been flattened by tornadoes. Stream employees also donated thousands of hours of their own time in helping Houston-area residents recover in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The Dedication Of Betsy DeVos In Enacting Educational Reform In The United States

As the Chairperson of the Dick and Betsy DeVos Family Foundation, Betsy DeVos is considered as a leading personality in educational reform and other charitable causes. In 1989, she founded this entity alongside her husband with the aim of effecting transformative change in the American society. Betsy DeVos ventured into the political arena as a student of Calvin College, and to-date has held several positions of leadership in the Michigan Republican Party.

Her interest in educational reform began while she was volunteering at the Potter’s House Christian School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For a long time, the institution has catered to the needs of low-income families and at-risk children in the region. Up to this day, Betsy DeVos still actively support Potter’s House because she believes the institution promotes choice in education. She is of the opinion that if she was able to choose a good school for her children, then every parent should be given the opportunity to do so. This motivated her to work with foundations that would provide scholarships so as to promote school choice early in her career. Read more about her philanthropy at MLive.com.

In the 1990s, Betsy DeVos served on the boards of American Education Reform Council and Children First America; charities that worked towards the implementation of educational choice through the use of tax credits and vouchers. To this end, she established the Great Lakes Education Project to propel the shift towards educational reform. Currently, the movement operates in 17 states, with more than 250,000 students benefiting from school choice. These students learn in 33 private-choice institutions that are publicly funded.

Betsy DeVos says that the movement’s greatest achievement can be witnessed in Florida, with more than 50,000 students enrolled in the state’s tax-credit scholarship program. Based on the number of enrolled students, the system bears the longest educational choice period. There have also been significant steps witnessed in Indiana and Louisiana.

She advocates for freedom in education through vouchers, tax credits, as well as other less-known approaches such as digital learning, home schooling, magnet schools, virtual schools, and charter schools. Her primary objective in educational reform is to ensure that parents select appropriate schools that will enable their children to unlock their full potential.

Getting Fulfillment by Learning the Kabbalistic Wisdom

Kabbalah is compared to the proverbial ‘tree of life.’ Kabbalah is a study of living and just like life it cannot be studied through a book but through living itself. It is effective through the practicability of its teaching in everyday life. Studying Kabbalah through a book is similar to studying ‘love’ but never experiencing it yourself. Kabbalah is a prehistoric wisdom that explains how the world and life work. The word Kabbalah implies ‘to receive.’ It entails studying how to get fulfillment in our lives.
At some point in our lives, some people may have been overcome with the feeling of dissatisfaction. Normally we try everything we can to achieve that fulfillment and the more we search for it, the more it eludes us. Fulfillment is not the temporary happiness or experiencing momentary senses of wellbeing. It means connecting to the energy and preserving the connection to long-lasting fulfillment.

As an ancient paradigm for living, Kabbalah teaches the branches of life such as health, careers, and relationships. It teaches that they originate from the same trunk and the same root. It is the knowledge of how the world works at the hub level. It is an avenue of looking at the universe that can link you to the sort of permanent fulfillment you seek.

The Kabbalah Centre is a renowned institution that provides courses on Kabbalistic teachings and the Zohar. It is the largest global organization that is committed to teaching the wisdom of Kabbalah, according to wikipedia.  Students, in turn, use this as a tool to help them enhance their lives and eliminate chaos from the universe.

The Kabbalah Centre provides brick and mortar locations across the world and more than 5, 000 studying every week. Apart from physical locations, the Centre also provides lectures, books, prayer service, CDs and DVDs and downloads. The physical locations comprise of regional and city based centre as well as study groups. Students get to interact with similar-minded people in a supportive community while at the Kabbalah Centre.

Autism Rocks Festival to Raise Money

Sanjay Shah is a British millionaire who knows how to invest and trade for profit. But what he and his wife Usha are planning has nothing to do with their own gain. They are planning “Autism Rocks,” a live concert and charity festival that will help raise money for autism research.

Sanjay Shah is the founder and CEO of Solo Group Holdings, and also the owner of Aesa S.a.r.l., which control Solo Group Holdings. He is also the owner of over three dozen companies throughout London, Dubai, The British Virgin Islands, Luxembourg, the Cayman Islands and Malta. His net worth is estimated at $280 million although he says he is retired.

After many tests and visits to many doctors they received the sad news that their child was autistic. Once they learned more about the disease and met others at the Autism center, Sanjay wanted to help in any way he could.

He started out by buying them a couple new minibuses to transport the children where they needed to go. From there he decided to use his position to see what kind of money he could raise, or get friends and colleagues to donate.

Sanjay spent time doing DJ jobs when he was in college, so he knew a little bit about the music scene. His first idea was for a reggae festival, but he was quickly denied.

Sanjay and Usha are very determined to help others as well as their son, and to help fund the research that may prevent other families from having to deal with autism. They have put one million dollars of their own money toward the festival, and hope it has a profitable outcome.

The festival is a two-night event sure to be full of fun and festivities.
Autism Rocks performs private concerts world-wide to help raise money for a very good cause.
