Kabbalah Center promoting peace through exchanging ideas and good spiritual relations

 

Kabbalah Center is a not-for-profit organization that was started in Jerusalem in 1922 by Rav Yehuda Ashlag. The organization was started with a primary objective of improving the lives of people alongside promoting peace through exchanging ideas and good spiritual relations. Later on, Rav Yehuda Ashlag was succeeded by Rav Yehuda Brandwein who then gave his responsibilities to Kabbalist Rav Berg who is the current coordinator of the Kabbalah Centre.

Kabbalah center offers teachings based on Kabbalistic wisdom and the Zohar. The courses are offered through online platforms, lectures, books, CDs, and DVDs. Teachers from all ethnic groups are chosen to guide the students who come from all over the world.

Most of the Kabbalistic teachings are offered as a supplement to teachings from other religions like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism. Earlier before its popularity, people misunderstood the Kabbalah movement often viewing it as a secretive movement that was suitable for students who had a background in Jewish law. However, it has expanded its boundaries internationally to include students from all ethnic backgrounds across the world.

Currently, Kabbalah Center is headquartered in Los Angeles. It is coordinated by Philip Berg, his wife, and two sons. It has other regional offices in more than fifty locations in Asia, Middle East, South America, Europe, and United States. The principal offices are located in Toronto, London, and New York City.

Kabbalah center has attracted many members some of whom are celebrities like Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, Elizabeth Tailor, Naomi Campbell, Anthony Kiedis, Demi Moore, and Jerry Hall. Most of these celebrities make their beliefs public by wearing a red string on their wrist. Additionally, many of the artists do not perform on Friday nights since it is the onset of Shabbat, a holy day.

Kabbalah Center is built on the spirit of giving back to the society through charity donations and volunteering. Its leader, Karen Berg asserts that it is crucial for one to donate his or her services to improve the living standards of people.
