Dr. Avi Weisfogel is a dentist in New Jersey who spent 15 years in practice and built a very nice following as well as a profitable business. He even won several awards in the town as being the most popular dentist.
After a time a strange thin began to occur as some of his clients were complaining about how the suffered from sleep apnea and they were very distraught about it. Sleep apnea is a condition where the throat relaxes during sleep, and the tongue falls back into the throat and blocks the breathing airway. The person who is asleep feels a choking sensation and wakes up a little until the airway passage is open enough for him to breathe, then he falls back to sleep.
This scenario continues throughout the night and in the morning and for the rest of the day the person is very tired because of the lack of sleep. When Avi Weisfogel inquired about what kind of treatment they were receiving to fix the problem he got lots of negative responses.
So, Dr. Weisfogel decided to try some remedies himself on some of his patients, and lo and behold they worked! He had constructed a device that holds the jaw in place so that the tongue doesn’t collapse back onto the throat. Soon he had most of his patients who had sleep apnea issues involved in the program, and everyone was very happy. Watch Video Here .
He began to share with some of his dentist friends what had happened, and everyone got excited about the possibilities. Soon he was lecturing on the benefits of what he had accomplished, and more excitement was generated.
In 2014 he established Dental Sleep Masters, and his horizons had now expanded away from a regional scope, and he was talking with dentists from all over the world. The dentist has a stake in the jaw, tongue and throat areas, and Dr. Weisfogel’s system was working very well.
Today, Dr. Weisfogel spends all of his time working with other dentists, and he feels that he has reached the pinnacle of his career and many other dental practitioners agree, as Dr. Weisfogel has come to be widely know for his sleep apnea work.
